good there i.e. Czech characters are displayed correctly! So, I

There is a difference in how attached e-mails are displayed in
Thunderbird 2.0 and upcoming version 3.0 if subjects contain some
diacritics. The regression in 3.0 displays the e-mail name as text
without proper encoding. Please see attached sc
So, it works fine in build #20091224r4571 i.e. no crash! On the other
hand the e-mail name is displayed incorrectly without proper encoding.
See attached screenshots for comparison. Is this a regression caused by
the fix?

Yes, here is the e-mail. Please open it. It contains email "Telefonní
číslo.eml" which crashes Thunderbird if you open it and try to "Edit
Message As New".

So, I did what you said i.e. run that service, reproduced the problem
which generated core dump however submission of new bug failed. I was
told that I have to first update my libraries: libglib2.0-0,
libgtk2.0-0, libgtk2.0-common. Hence I am reopening this bug.
