I have a Latitude e6500 have a similar problem. I know for sure that
the problem has been present since Ubuntu 9.04, and is still present in
Ubuntu 10.4. After resume from suspend, the screen does not power on.
As a result, I have not used Ubuntu on my laptop. This bug is extremely
