I tried it again after removing the squid-deb-proxy-client package. Now it
worked without errors.
The squid-deb-proxy server is running on a 12.04 system with default settings.
I'm not sure it was a problem with the download mirror, the squid proxy
or something else.

At the moment, the log files for squid-deb-proxy are not rotated.
As a result, the log files in /var/log/squid-deb-proxy will grow unnecessary
large (40 MB+ on my small home network). I don't think it's needed to keep
logfiles for months
A workaround that has worked every time so far: restart the
squid-deb-proxy-avahi process on the server machine.
sudo service squid-deb-proxy-avahi restart
The problem seems to occur when the server is on for a couple of days or
a week. The first few days everything works without problems.

Steps to reproduce:
Open OO.o Writer.
Type the following text:
"Testing 1 2 3 uname -a test test test"
Select "uname -a" and copy/paste it to a terminal window.
The command is automatically executed.
When I copy it to gedit, the cursor jumps to the next line.

Hardy does not resize the window.
