Can't have anything to do with Beryl, as I have never had that on my system...

On one machine I did the automatic upgradefrom Edgy Kubuntu to Feisty Kubuntu -
no problems at all, Printer (CX5700) still worked..
On another machine (different printer (CX5900)) I installed the Kubuntu Desktop
CD straight onto a blank partition, - No Drivers for the CX series

Found a temp workaround to this problem...
When at the screen, right click the icon on taskbar and click
"UNMaximise" then right click icon again and click "MOVE" this will
allow you to move the screen up so that you can see the prompts at the
bottom.

When trying to install Dapper I cannot get past the "Mount Points" screen
because I have too many partitions which causes the prompts to disappear off
screen and there is no scroll bar on the side of the partition list to be able
to scroll down to the bottom..
