Likewise, disabling the floppy drive worked. I think its because this
error is followed by a stream of
end_request: I/O error, device fd0, sector 0
Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block 0
over and over, which would explain the connection to the floppy. I also
have no floppy drive.
