Their are two issues here. The original issue is a current bug, however
the lockup is separate and fixed as noted below.
The other issues listed are SEPARATE and fixed in 2.6.27.11+ currently
in intrepid-proposed.
The workaround is to sudo modprobe -r ath9k then sudo modprobe ath9k
although there
I don't think this can be attributed to bluetooth/wireless on the same
chip.
This problem manifests itself AFTER some time being connected so I think
that it is related to the kernel problem reported in

Updated intrepid 32 bit install.
Click link in a Thunderbird email and firefox goes to full screen blocking out
the entire screen including the upper taskbar and AWN applet on the lower half
of screen.

While I do not have access to the bug Nick mentions previously a simple
"modprobe dm-loop" does indeed fix the issue.

Are you still having this problem. I cannot reproduce on Macbook Pro 3,1
using Intrepid Ibex 8.10. The F6 key (shows numlock) lights and the
number pad on the keyboard works fine.
Please advise.
