Autosave doesn't work for Unsaved
I added ubuntu-audio-dev PPA and did an update. It only updated
pulseaudio software packages. It didn't update anything alsa.
The internal speaker is still not muted when using the headphone jack.

I just got a brand new laptop, I formatted it with Ubuntu 9.10.
Everything worked to my knowledge, except sound.

Right click on firefox in gnome-panel (next to the evolution icon), and
click on properties, then click on the icon logo. This opens the Browse
Icons window, and I see /usr/share/pixmaps/, and I can pick a different
icon from those choices.
If you drag firefox icon from gnome-panel onto the
technically this is true, freeware is software that is no cost. But it
implies to most people that it is proprietary freeware. And not free
software, or open source. The program is GPLv2 seems like it
would confuse people to call it freeware. o well;

k, this new kernel works great. 3d accel works fine and everything. I

yes, I also have the same bug with x86 Ubuntu. I did a fresh install
with edgy on Sep. 16th, and I started OO.o Writer, and when I go to save
it crashes, then recovers my document. Except EVERYTIME I try and save
it crashes and recovers my document. So the only way to truly recover my

I think it would be more friendly if you were able to right click on an
individual Icon and remove it, instead of having to know to right click no
Applications and go to Edit Menus.
