I also moved anacron.conf, and that resolved my log-rotating issues.

Used a home-built fakeroot package for 10.04, with the above change
applied. Now I upgraded to 12.04 LTS, and found out that version
1.18.2-1 still suffers from missing 32-bit libs on amd64.
Is there some other way to get 32bit fakeroot support om amd64 in 12.04?
