In using Glade in Quantal (both within a Quickly context) and just run
'glade' from the command line, when editing (I think specifically when
editing widget properties), the app segfaults.

nothing appears for four seconds is going to potentially frustrate a lot

I have noticed that Rhythmbox has been hanging regularly. I run
Rhythmbox with cross-fading and album art switched on.
To see if I could nail down the issue, I ran Rhythmbox with debug
messages switched on. When it hung I saw the usual flurry of tick_cb
messages and then some
