That is the menu item for the Debian menu, which is not used in Ubuntu.
Ubuntu uses the freedesktop.org standard for menus. The menu items are
.desktop files located in /usr/share/applications/

We have a bit of a problem here. Ibwebadmin depends on php4-interbase
but there is no corresponding php5-interbase. I'm not sure if there's
another package that's equivalent or not. BTW, it's good to test install
your packages before putting a debdiff up.

I'm going to reject this bug because autogen is listed as a Recommended
package for anjuta. As autogen is not absolutely required to
use/configure anjuta it's more appropriate as a Recommended dependency.
Some tools suck as aptitude automatically install Recommended packages.

OK, I figured out why it was working sometime but not others for me. If
I am in /usr/share/Xaos/ or in the Xaos source it finds the help just
fine, otherwise it doesn't. It looks like it's able to find the files
only if they are in the current directory. Perhaps Xaos is not figuring
out what the da
I kinda doubt it's hardware if the error is that it can't find the docs. For
what it's worth I have similar hardware.

of the "fix" the Debian maintainer did. It works fine without them as

The edgy version (0.99.2-4build1) of rpy has broken maintainer scripts because
dh_installdeb is called before dh_pycentral. The result is that the python
files are not installed to directory in the python path. If you run:

I created startsqueak as a GUI wrapper script so that squeak can be used
from the menu. inisqueak was never installed in the packages we used. I
talked with squeak developers and they liked my startsqueak script so I

I compiled the source package fine in a Dapper pbuilder. Praat worked
fine. That's with the Dapper standard gcc 4.0.3 . There are 2 patches in
the source package (debian/patches) that maybe you should try applying
before compiling. Really though, source packages are not neccesarily
meant to be buil
The version of maxima in Dapper was compiled with a gcl version that
seems to have introduced this bug. It also appears to affect all maxima
frontends. We are working on getting approvals for gcl and maxima for
dapper-updates.

built by the geant321 source package in Debain instead of cernlib. I

Are you running Dapper (6.06) or Edgy (6.10)? And what version of gcl,
maxima and wxmaxima? I'm thinking this is probably a duplicate of bug
43150 but we should make sure.

Please don't file bugs when you know they are duplicates. It really
doesn't help us out. As you probably know, maxima is a part of the
community maintained Universe repository. This means you are more then
welcome to provide a fix for the bug. I have personally made maxima bugs
my top bug priority

The problem is that Gnome does not support a Science menu so if it
doesn't have "Education" or one of the other Main Categories from

Categories= it will apear in "Other". "Science" is a freedesktop.org

I think this might already be fixed as far as there is a missing part of
the last sentence for the Gaim menu directions. On doc.ubuntu.com it
looks ok and in the svn repo it looks ok, but on my edgy box it doesn't.
Something to do with the entities I guess.
