Public bug reported: With default installation of festival and spanish voice: festival festvox-ellpc11k
When I execute this command: echo hola |festival --tts --language spanish or echo hola |festival --tts --language castillian_spanish I get the same answer: Not a Spanish voice installed I've edited the /usr/share/festival/languages/language_castillian_spanish.scm (attached) to keep as similar to american_english.scm file and it started to work correctly. However I get an error on alias: echo hola |festival --tts --language castillian "Language not installed. The installed languages are:" (english czech castillian_spanish finnish russian scots_gaelic american_english italian welsh british_english) And the list of languages isn't correct: just castillian_spanish is listed and spanish is missing. I could generate a language_spanish.scm and language_castillian_spanish.scm similar to english version but I don't know if it will be useful for you. ** Affects: festival (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "Possible solution for missing voice" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1650237/+attachment/4791942/+files/language_castillian_spanish.scm -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1650237 Title: Spanish voice isn't loaded when requested To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/festival/+bug/1650237/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
