This sounds very similar a bug that was fixed some time ago (I can't find the
bug report now). I'd recommend upgrading to a more recent version of shotwell
(I think the ubuntu repos should have 18.1?) and seeing if that fixes the issue.

I'm not actually sure if this is a shotwell issue or a software center
issue (or something else entirely). I'd suggest removing shotwell-
common and shotwell and then installing shotwell. But I'd wait a little
and give someone else a chance to chime in.

Can you explain what it is you were trying to do? The steps that you
took to cause this error? i.e. "I checked the install box next to
shotwell, and then pressed the apply button."

package zram-config 0.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
installed post-installation script returned error
This bug did affect me, but I found one of the install scripts was
erroring out because I was running low on /boot, removing some old
kernels fixed the issue for me. That said the error message wasn't
enlightening.

@ Preston, any chance you can try this again with the current version of
Shotwell, I attempted to replicate this but it seemed to work properly
for me (upload showed 3:16pm, Eastern, but I'm in the Eastern timezone).
