Have tested this bug in 12.04 and can confirm that it exists in this
release.
If screen lock activates whilst hovering over a drop down element

According to reports [1] lpadmin should accept the command lpadmin -p

I'm suffering this on 9.10, although I didn't on 9.04 and earlier. I
suppose, in fairness, I'm suffering this issue on a connected interface,
unlike the original reporter, although I think it's the same issue and
it causes problems for me:

It'd be nice, perhaps, if it produced a message:

Would make a handy enhancement for people like me who want to use apt at

Apt shows incorrect suggestion to fix unavailability of public key
I've suffered the same issue. Presumably, because you've entered your
sudo password to open this dialogue, it's displaying /root rather than
/home/[username]
the command:
sudo nautilus
produces the same result (as expected and desired).

I suffer the same in the 8.10 beta. My /etc/network/interfaces reads as:
