Is this something that the Eclipse project could fix in their releases?
I just tried Helios downloaded from Eclipse project and its menus were

While waiting for an official fix, I did this:
1. I downloaded dvb-dev's deb-file from dapper repository.
2. I used dpkg --force-depends -i dvb-dev... to install it.
3. I changed dvb-dev's Depends field on /var/lib/dpkg/status from "Depends:
linux-kernel-header..." into "Depends: libc6 (>= 2.4-1)"
