Yes, i have similar problems with Pidgin. Sometimes everything works OK,
but many times i just got 100% cpu usage, frequent reconnects too.
I am using Google talk and jabber protocols with Pidgin.

any fixes of this problem ? Does i need to try vanilla kernel ?
