Some of my panoramic pictures show up as completely gray in Image
Viewer, despite them being shown perfectly in the thumbnail, and on all
other devices and computers.
Other apps on the same computer/OS show pictures perfectly.

I have found out how to reproduce the problem every time.
If you press ALT+F2 and enter the command r (for restart), it will
have set itself to English, even though my default input is Danish.

I worked arround the problem by running rdesktop with the -b flag - Info
from rdesktop man: -b : Force the server to send screen updates as
bitmaps rather than using higher-level drawing operations.
Since i did this i havn't had this problem even once, but it takes a
heavy toll on the bandwidth,
I cannot see what bug #124627 is about, as it's not found ?
I still experience this problem, and running a fully updated Ubuntu
Gnome 14.04 (uname -a: Linux 3.13.0-40-generic #69-Ubuntu SMP Thu Nov 13
17:53:56 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux).
