Using an HP NL40 microserver and after a successful 13.10 instalation
using whole disk encryption I can not enter the password that unlocks the
partitions.
My Keyboard works on the grub boot menu but after that it seems that it does

Almost the same problem here. etc/resolv.conf is wiped on every reboot
and I have manually to add the nameservers.
(by the way I have to use a static IP and I use shrew vpn)
I tried to make read only the /etc/resolv.conf but it does not work.
Ubuntu amassed me from release 6.06 and on but lately

I tried luismondesi workaround and it did not work
So I used for the installation an external usb dvd-rom and everything
went smoothly
my pc has an amd 780g chipset and a nec dvd-rom
