Anything is going on regarding this regression?
Today, I'm seeing two entries in the update list labelled Transitional
dummy package. Gee, I wonder what they do. Also, Command-line driven
interactive plotting program. X-package. So, which plotting program is
that?

When trying to decompress a tar.bz2 or tar.gz archive on FAT drive,
file-roller quits with following error message

Inserting a pen drive into Ubuntu automatically mounts it for the
desktop user to see it. However, using the file explorer to then share
that pen drive fails. There seems to be no trivial solution on the
internet.

After upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty, I cannot input accented letters with
AltGr. Before upgrading, everything worked fine.
On the logon screen, when SCIM is not running, accented letters work.
