old for this fix (never mind that it also seems to exhibit a critical
bug on my computer), I tried the latest build from drm-intel-nightly
(Feb 23). No critical bug there.

That's the latest kernel in drm-intel-next. There is a newer one (23rd of
Feb) in drm-intel-nightly that has the same Ville S. fixes at the top but
COMMIT is another different number. I'll try that; I don't see any point in
pursuing a different bug at this moment.

scroll bar you can sometimes see a transient and non-functional "hiding"
scroll control.

I've made a breakthrough in understanding this problem. It seems to give
me a 100% workaround but of course I can't be sure.
The solution is to use "taskset" to force the "Xorg" and "compiz"
processes to always be run on the same CPU. The simple terminal commands
are:

really the i915 driver that powers both screens. Ubuntu 12.04 uses
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4. 12.10 uses

to print a second pdf file and just random text/characters are printed.
Only solution is to turn the printer off, cancel the print job and then
print the file again. It then works.

Have restarted the computer several times now and that freeze/unfreeze

I have tried multiple time and have left the process running for several
hours trying to get the gbd process to run simultaneously but the whole
thing keeps freezing. I use the 'cont' command to move it along, but
eventually banshee --debug ends and there is 'no stack' for the 'bt
full' command.

I ran "banshee --debug" in a terminal but it stops responding at;
ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-0.10/libgsttypefindfunctions.so
Please either:
- remove it and restart.
- run with --gst-disable-segtrap --gst-disable-registry-fork

When I right-click on a quicklist then move to right-click another
quicklist in the Unity launcher the closed quicklist can still be seen,
specifically the parts that would overlap with the currently open
quicklist

I have used Ubuntu Tweak's Source Editor and deleted
net/nilarimogard/webupd8/ubuntu precise main list.
It tested me quite abit and was I getting frustated and vexed every
thing I tried was just not working.
So full marks to UBUNTU TWEAK once again its come to my rescue its a
great source and ver
