@Obsidian, I did try that and it was still no go. Still got the same error message. Running Ubuntu 10.04 b2 here. I did discover that the AMD Turino II M500 is a 64 bit so I'm going to download the 64 version and see if that makes the difference... Everything I've read shows people using the 64
