I have just installed cachefilesd and rebooted. The only change I made
was the location of the cache - everything else is set to default. The
cache location exists and is writable.
I thought I'd test so first attempt:
$ cat /mnt/server/share/file > /dev/null
No problem.
I have not seen this seen moving from Precise to Trusty. Also not seen
this on Xenial.
I can think of no reason for going backwards to Precise so you can close
this unless someone else is still seeing this on Precise (and Precise is
still supported).

Typing 'cgget -h' outputs some blatant typos:
-gController which info should be displaied
-g :Control group whih info should be displaied

I've moved all the machines to Trusty now. I'll leave this to expire
just in case anyone else is interested in the backport.

Autoscroll stops randomly. There is no need to press any buttons. Of
course this means that the scrolling stops during a live capture which
is a real PITA. This didn't occur in Precise, only recently upgraded to
Trusty.
