I would suggest this be given better consideration, beyond that of
"opinion", as it is currently impossible to use Ubuntu on a minimal
server. A "minimal" build is now running services that are unwanted,
unexpected, and are creating risk to the enduser. Even though the

grounds Ubuntu LTS releases are popular server operating systems which
many folks rely on for day to day operations. As an LTS release its
expected security issues will be taken care of as long as the release is

Bump if anyone has time to work on this it would be a huge benefit to
the OpenStack community.
This is a blocking issue for us too as we're not able to fully use LXC
containers in our OpenStack deployments. Specifically we can not run
nova-compute in an lxc container due to issues with (RW) AF_NET
Bump.
Any ETA on getting this merged? At present Glance is unusable in Juno
when using internalURL by default.

This is still an impacting issue, Curious if there has been any progress on it
on any front?
Being that apport information was requested I've provided it from my running
systems.
