I am having the same problem in trying to install software in Muon. But
when I tried to install polkit-kde-1 on the command line I get the
message that I already have the latest version.

Thunderbird 64-bit from the repository (2.0.0.23), Thunderbird would not

I am having the same problem. It affects some, but not all, KDE
programs. So far I have gotten the problem with KPar2 and Amarok, but
with Krusader the Help Center opens normally. Installing khelpcenter
(using Adept or the command line) does not fix it. Reinstalling the
application does not fix
