Running Gimp under Ubuntu 19.04. I have installed gimp-plugin-registry
and using David's Batch Processor to open a group of .gif files and
export them as .png. After the conversion is complete, I hit the "Quit"
button on David's Batch Processor - and get this crash:

So it turns out that the "normalizing" thing is a plugin for Brasero
When I disable that plugin, the burning continues, so I guess this should be
marked as a bug in the normalizing plugin

pavucontrol did anything - here's what works for me:

actually have a combined headphone /mic plug, but I often plug in my regular
headphones. It

This computer is running Precise 64 bit upgraded from Oneiric 64 bit.
Sound was working fine until today 5/13/12
Updated with the latest updates and sound does not work.
Computer is dual boot with Win 7, in Win 7 the microphone works fine, so I do
