dmesg shows attempts to mount disks that are part of zpools individually. The
main part is already mounted as part of the pool. It seems to be trying to
mount the reserved partitions.
I am unsure what package this should belong to. mountall looked to be the most
accurate

As sam have pointed out the new version in Oneiric works. This bug only
applies to Natty. I have compiled the new 0.19 along with various needed
Oneiric packages on Natty and it works well.

On Natty forked-daapd (0.16 and one of the 0.12 series, iirc it was the one for
Natty) does not compile for me.

They seem to use Avahi directly. Would that help not to cause issues with the
release policy?
