Dear Philip I found temporary solution by reverting back to Kernel Driver
Callback method. Obviously the issue is in the systemd power management.
As far as I understood there is problem with some kernels and nvidia drivers.

Raymond, there are another issue remaining: headphone jack stops working after
sleep.
alsa-info-ok.txt is a dump in case everthing works fine
alsa-info-not-ok.txt is a dumo after sleep where speakers works fine and
headphones jack does not produce any sound.

And this is ubuntu's mainline repo.
Seems I have a bit different error with same result, but you may try.
You can always boot to stock kernel.
I hope this testing result will point ubuntu kernel team to backport

I believe I have the same bug. I actually had to stop using ubunutu due to this
bug.
The problem: After I shut down computer from within ubuntu , and I start it

I got similar problem, but the issue is with 100% height and width, but
using 2 monitors.
When I configure it and press Apply -> OK, everything looks
perfect..until I hide it (with F12). and show it again. Then the size
is correct, but it's shifted a little right and it's very annoying.

Graph library miss
After many tries and stop/restarts, finally the cron start but not with
upstart but with simple "cron" from the command line and as long as I do
not restart the server (which I plan not to do soon) it will run. It
does execute the jobs, etc. I sent the strace from upstart because there
seems to be
