With kernel 4.10.0-32-generic and amdgpu-pro the kernel have some
problem with loading alx module for the ethernet interface when starting
the PC. Thus manually load the alx module is needed for network to fully

make history save on exit only.

Do we need the module-console-kit at all? The module seems to disrupt
playback when I close my laptop lid and suspend mplayer from playing. It
could be a feature but it does not resume the playback when I open the

I think there is something wrong here. I want it to fall back to the
GtkStatusIcon. But sometimes it does not fall back at all. Which means I
do not get any icons since I use trayer and not gnome-panel.

Looks like it only happens when autologin is turn on. Otherwise the
service is able to load fast enought.

The validation of password hangs when you are going to unlock your screen from
a screen saver lock or from suspend/hibernate.
The only way to resume you session is to login to another tty and kill all
gnome-screensaver processes.
