I'm able to consistently replicate this behavior by having a number of
tabs open in Chrome, minimizing the browser then maximizing it. At that
point it freezes up and sends Xorg to 100% CPU usage.

Exact same problem on Hardy Heron with latest updates as of (28th of

I have the same problem as Pavel and Stuart and my HAL version is
0.5.11~rc2-1ubuntu2.
Additionally after attempting to connect to a wireless network,
NetworkManager crashes.
This is what syslog says:
