I solved the problem by adding nomodeset --xdriver=intel to the boot parameters. I hope that can help some of you guys. No black screen and Compiz is also working then. I hope there will be an update so we don't need to add boot with these parameters. -- i915: black screen on boot https://bugs.la

I have the same problem. When I use firefox, some times when there are many connections, everything freezes, also mouse pointer animation. But I am able to move the mouse.
