My grub2 had a short (compared to Dean's) delay varying from 6-10 seconds too.
Not wanting to try jocko's workaround I changed the boot priority of my hard
drives so it would boot the drive where grub2 is installed on first. Now there

I just noticed this on todays live cd of Karmic. Running the Live CD I started
Firefox and both http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/3.5.2/firstrun/ and
http://www.mozilla.org/ came up.
Ubufox is installed but I don't see it in Firefox.

i don't know. i do not use last.fm anymore, because they arent free anymore in
my country. still, banshee does the job better anyway for me. was it default in
karmic?
i can make a test run for it, but that would be next week. but i don't
know how to catch the debug-data on it.

Firefox: Following update to 3.0.13 and restart it redirects to 404 file not
found.
This still happens for the new 3.0.13 update. A tab appeared which tries
to get to http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/3.0.13/whatsnew/ but
this page does not exist. I added a duplicate bug too
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/409247).

I am using a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo xi3650 notebook which has finger
touch sensitive multimedia keys. They dont give the right response when
using them - even though I configured them in the keyboard shortcuts.

you don't have permision to use the disk-drive, during integrity-check.
very weird, cause i do have those permissions.

The mediatomb faq suggest another solution that can be used for head-
less machines (no need to log in) which is a bit more complex, I haven't
tried it
