Just for the record, the PCI id of the Atheros AR5007/AR2425 in the Eee
PC 700/900 is also 168c:001c. That wireless chipset does work with
ath5k, so it looks like we will need some additional info to distinguish
these. See bug 182489.

The problem here is that the pci id 168c:001c is listed as an alias for
ath_hal. This causes ath_hal to be loaded instead of ath5k. If ath_hal
does not support this device, then this pci id must be removed from
modules.alias.override/ath_hal
