The problem is that dpkg is a prerequisite of xz-utils, but _also_
requires liblzma. As a result, when priming them one after the other, we
cache the lookup result for dpkg, and re-use it when priming xz-utils:

and xz-utils to speed things up.
If I have a clean tree and run `snapcraft prime` this is what I end up

Indeed, even after `snap remove` is completed, the snap's configuration
settings are still held in /var/lib/snapd/state.json. They should
probably be purged, or if this behavior is desired, add a --purge option
to `snap remove`.

I'm going to go ahead and invalidate the snapcraft task here. As the
original report asked: "Is there a good facility for install-time
copying of template configs or other writeable-from-initial-state data
into $SNAP_USER_DATA?" Snapcraft is build-time; this is outside its
purview.

I just received the patch and my touchpad now works as expected.
This is for my Dell Latitude E5470, which, before this update, had the
generic mouse drivers which did not recognize it as a touchpad.
