Yes, it seems that the drives is part of the base modules, but it just not on
the installer cd.
The bug is with the installer kernel+images. The 3w-sas driver *is* in
2.6.38-8-server package.

I can confirm that PXE booting (I suspect from a CD as well) of Lucid
SERVER (desktop work fine) does not have the firmware available, so the

Hmmm. I'm unable to get more info. I can confirm these facts:
* I believe it is a resume failure. The system appears to get into the right
mode (pulsing power led), but when it comes back up it hard locks with the HD
led constant.
