All right!! It seems to have fixed my issue :). Mem=1G allowed me to
boot the amd64 installer.

Here is the lscpi -vvnn from 9.10 RC 32 bit LIVE CD. As I cannot boot
the amd64 at all, I figured this is as close as I can get it.
