i ran dpkg --configure -a, no issues found. then apt-get update/upgrade again,
zero packages to upgrade, no issues found.

i dont see an issue with this.
as example: in chromium, closing the last [or first tab, depending how you look
at it] quits the application, if thats what i wanted i would have exited the
program couple other ways.
the behaviour in rekonq is fine with me, so i do not consider this to be a

after my post above, i rebooted the system to check if it was some kind of
coincidence but f-spot still seems to function without errors under the new
wave theme. i even imported a large number of picture files without any
issues..
what happened and why is it working now is beyond me. but the b

fspot crashes on startup when [new wave] theme is enabled.
included are two text files with bug information obtained using apport-cli and
from running the program from terminal.
however, seeing that switching to [human] theme and starting the program worked
as expected, i decided to import a fol
interesting, i encountered the same exact issue, f-spot will not run when [new
wave] theme is the active theme.
i came to figure this out while trying to determine if i had a new f-spot bug
and reading Umang comment [#6] here.
