Bug 709984 is the same as this one - only during the upgrade from 10.04
to 10.10
I have since looked what was reported automatically by Synaptic. It
does not include messages which preceded the abnormal completion code.
It begins with Openoffice is running already I made the
following

desktop i386. Is similar to previously opened one in 10.04 during

Subsequently, I ran a 'completely remove' in Synaptic and it failed to
