I have this bug too on Xubuntu 12.04.
The problem is:
Unable to open the softsynth device: Device or resource busy
What is softsynth ?
How i can fix the problem?

My pc have 2 IDE HD with several partitions for to try several ubuntu distro.
Main distro is Ubuntu 10.4 32-bit were i've installed grub 1.98-1ubuntu12.
Another partition have Ubuntu 11.10 64bit were i tried to use recovery mode,
but it always freeze then i cannot use.

Ubuntu 11.04, Nautilus 2.32.2.1, the bug is fixed.
But, i prefer if F2 select all filename without the extention. :)
Can you create an item on gconf-editor for to choose how the user want
it?

More details:
In the attached image you can see that i used an .ogv file.
That .OGV file was originally taken by GtkRecordMyDesktop (before to use
Avidemux).
In second time i tryied to edit the original file .ogv (taken by
GtkRecordMyDesktop) with different softwares (windows's software too)

I have an ogv movie (total time: 2h 37' 47) recorded by Avidemux (GTK+).
VLC not say the right total time of the movie.
I also tryied with Totem and all ok.

In the configuration a) the second pc conneted to the network is a
Pentium 4 with Windows XP and the internal H.d. uses NTFS file system.
In the configuration b) both USB hd-drives (Hard Disk 500 GB HP and the
second H.D. 150 GB) are using NTFS file system.

Hi all,
i have an old USB webcam Creative Go Plus.
I tried to connect it on my Pentium 4 with Ubuntu 9.04 but all software cannot
recognizes it.
i tryied to use : Nautilus, gThumb, f-spot, Skype.
Althought, if i try to do:
