Public bug reported: I recently upgraded Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04 and this messed up my digikam installation. I had installed digikam 3.1 on Ubuntu 12.10 following this recipe, which worked out of the box. http://dia-scan.blogspot.co.uk/2013/...untu-1204.html
After upgrading to 13.04 the software centre tells me that digikam is not installed. Trying to install digikam via the software centre results in an error - see report ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: digikam (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-19.29-generic 3.8.8 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-19-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed May 1 19:20:50 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-01-27 (94 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: digikam UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to raring on 2013-04-26 (5 days ago) ** Affects: digikam (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug raring -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1175274 Title: Trying to install digikam 3.1 on Ubuntu 13.04 after upgrade from Ubuntu 12.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/digikam/+bug/1175274/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
