I've successfully built vbam (a gameboy advance emulator) with cmake
2.8.2 on Maverick, but when I enabled the backports repository, I got
cmake 2.8.3, which can't build it anymore.
This is the output on the console when I run "cmake ."

had been facing the (0,0) cursor move issue on first use ever since.
Out of curiosity, I installed ppa-purge this morning and proceeded to purge the

I am experiencing frequent lock-ups/hangs/freezes with the Jaunty Desktop Beta
version, using ext4.
Every now and then it'll freeze, no matter if I just booted or if I've been
logged in for 5 hours.
I have experimented a lot of things to trigger these freezes what I could co
I managed to get LEDs to work by doing the following:
1- Doing all updates ( I have Proposed enabled ) which overrides Andy's kernel,
breaking wireless again.
2- Reinstall linux-backports-modules-jaunty
3- Reinstall Andy's kernel.
I'm not sure whether it's really needed, but I reboot after each

Wireless is working as expected with free Atheros driver and so is the kill

Regarding your doubt, version 4.1 was supposed to fix this, but it didn't.
If you downgrade to version 4, Update Manager will tell you there's an update,
since the 4.1 package wasn't dropped off the repository.
You just have to keep ignoring vers
I can confirm this bug.
Sometimes wireless will stop working and it works again after a reboot, a cold
boot being needed.
