Fixed. I saw looking into details, using synaptic, that to downgrade
from mariadb 10 to mysql 5.6 I had to remove a file in /var/lib/mysql .
The file is debian-10.0.flag

I believe you are using an unofficial version of the package
('luminance'), which is conflicting with the one from the repositories
('luminance-hdr').
Please try to first remove the 'luminance' package and then try to
install 'luminance-hdr'.
I had this problem only on Elementary OS Freya and Ubuntu Gnome 14.10.
Currently I use Manjaro with Gnome 3.14.3 and I haven't had this problem
since.

I think I incurred in the same problem. I've just built a git 3.17
kernel (as a task of the eudyptula challenge) and when trying it, it
crashes after a while (i generally just manage to login) if I have my

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 natively on my Macbookpro11,1 Late 2013 and I
am using an external webcam in the meantime. That's the only thing that
does not work for me. All the rest runs smoothly. You may have to

Ops, I didn't know that. I've hidden it (can't delete).
I have no idea how to reproduce, It happened randomly after a resume and
I don't know what triggered it.
Here is what I did:
- Suspend the PC
- Resume
- Open a terminal and launch sudo nmcli sleep false (workaround for bug
#1252121)

doesn't give an error, does absolutely nothing. The entire terminal is
blocked and Ctrl C does nothing.

management software), desktop PC, networking never resumed after a
suspend, 100% failure rate. Though being a desktop I supended the PC

This bug is happening to me. I do not have cups installed, only avahi.
Avahi-daemon does not require cups to be installed but
/etc/init/avahi-cups-reload.conf wants to reload cups without doing any check
if cups is actually installed.
I believe this script should either look for the cups binary
