I test the kernel image -
"linux-image-3.13.0-28-generic_3.13.0-28.51_amd64.deb".
I can't find hp-wireless.ko after installation.
So I install linux-image-3.13.0-28-generic_3.13.0-28.51~precise1_amd64.deb.
The wireless key works fine on this image.
And, as Alex mentioned in bug 1118689 #6, BIOS
If Ethernet cable is plugged, this issue can be reproduced on 3.2.0-61.
Following 3 conditions can avoid this issue.
1. Removed NIC driver (atl1c)
2. Disable NIC from BIOS
3. Unplug Ethernet cable
It should be a NIC driver bug.

Ｉtried the on my Lenovo E600A with [--forcepae]
parameter.
I seemed successfully installed.
But the desktop showed me slowly just as a slow-motion video :-(
Maybe the forcepae caused that problem.

Tried following kernel parameters,
1. acpi_osi="!Windows 2012"
2. acpi_backlight=vendor
3. video.use_native_backlight=1
each of them can fix this bug.
Since upstream is going to change the default for video.use_native_backlight to
1,
this bug can be fixed in later release after the patch is merge
Verified with this setting "A06 / 12.04.2 + 3.11.0-15", this issue can be
reproduced if reboot command has been run.
I also found that if USB stick is plugged, reboot symptom will disappear.
