I can confirm window resizing is VERY slow using the nvidia-current
driver and setting CCSM - Resize Window - Default Resize Mode =
Normal.
Using updated 12.10.

I'm a programmer for over a decade, but I never dived into driver

I am using an updated Hardy 8.04.1.
I am measuring the memory usage using gnome-system-monitor's Memory tab.
At time of writing the applet takes 2.4MB. I just can't see a reason to justify
a 500kb memory usage for such a simple application.
