I ran firefox from a terminal screen and when it crashed (since I never did get a crash report in my /var/crash) it said... /usr/lib/firefox/firefox-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/firefox/components/libmyspell.so: undefined symbol: _ZN8Hunspell5spellEPKc so, I do not know... -- After

I know how I got mine resolved... it was spell check. I forget how I determained it... I had to go into preferances and goto advanced and uncheck spell check. NOT sure why it was failing. I just turned it back on and it crashed with it on. so I turned it back off again... good luck. --

Public bug reported: I recently upgraded from Firefox 2.0.0.6 (or 7 or something) to 0.8 Ever since, whenever I am in a text box (like this one) Firefox will crash / close unexpectedly. I noticed it first at t-mobile.com/messaging site... and notice it would happen when I pressed a space

I went in and checked the /var/crash directory... when I did ls... I seen few files... ones dealing with my gpddrive (trying to play with that too after basically giving up with firefox). but nothing that says firefox in the file names... at least I am learning :-) -- After upgrade to
