This bug still exists. PCManFM randomly freezes and prompts me to end the process. Like @Patrick Schmitt, I receive a "Sorry Ubuntu has experienced an internal error ...." message, and when I than try to see the details of the error message, the message window itself crashes instantly.
In addition to this, the desktop icons will disappear, leaving just my wallpaper. I can't get my icons to reappear unless I restart my computer. Today, matters got worse. Now when PCManFM freezes and its process ends, my desktop completely resets to its default state. I see the default Lubuntu wallpaper and all my icons lose the places I moved them to and shift to the left side of the screen. The font size and color reset to the default too. It's been over a year since this issue started. This is getting ridiculous. I'm a new user to Linux and I have to face an issue like this within months of picking up this distro. Developers, I hope you realize this is a very bad look for you. Windows would have fixed a bug like this within a day. I thought LTS was supposed to be the stable version? Can someone please tell me how to solve this?
