After looking thoroughly at the upstream code for m2crypto, it looks
like this SSLTimeoutError exception never existed. I have pinged the
upstream maintainer of M2Crypto go get confirmation.
Then I will get it fixed for all releases will request a fix for
debian as well.

The issue is the source package contains private settings.
Of course it all depends on how much trouble it is to update the package

I run Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 with Gnome 3.14 installed from gnome3-team's
staging PPA as suggested above. I also installed updates from xorg-
edgers. Even after this, graphics are still more sluggish than they were
on 14.04:
- HD video playback is slow and shows artefacts,

I have just synchronized the debian version of makedumpfile with Ubuntu
as there is no longer any delta between both. I would hate to
reintroduce such a delta only for Ubuntu so I would greatly prefer to
implement the fadump feature in Debian first.

I had this problem in Ubuntu 14.10 untill I changed my 'password and
keys' to store unencrypted (blank password). Not the most secure
solution but is fine for me.
