thanks for your answers. i've been a TRS-DOS user since 1982 and MS-DOS
1984-5 +/- and of Windows since day 1; i just joined Ubuntu last month,
even with my extensive computer experience i'm just a regular user not
very proned to "program" or debug, i don't mind reporting bugs or things
