Recompiling uvcvideo driver from SVN as described in bug #287888 solved the problem. Now cheese, skype and all other programs interacting with my webcam work again. Note that running: mplayer tv:// -fps 15 -tv driver=v4l2:width=800:height=600:device=/dev/video0 worked also with the old driver
