Actualy, you should take 8 units from the keycode in order to it work.
So, the 96 keycode should be set as 88 and so on.. as follows:
#will emulate the middle button on the F11 key (95)
sudo sysctl dev.mac_hid.mouse_button2_keycode=87
#will emulate the right button on the F12 key (96)
sudo sysctl
I have new clues, after the fresh install of intrepid and update to
jaunty everything was working ok but not the effects because the
restricted drivers were not installed. So I decided to install the
driver, because of a error ( i think becouse of http proxy ) i could not
use jockey to download
After the upgrade to 2:8.600-0ubuntu2 the system is not starting. The
window manager flicks and after freezes. I've attached a video showing
the boot.

Because i can connect when i'm inside the company, in the intranet.

thats worked to me too, when a boot on vista the sounds stops working,
but doing your procedure all back to work again.
