This is not really fixed, just can be worked around by some obscure
setting now. Voting to re-open.

Now that Ubuntu's dependency on CouchDB is long gone, shouldn't the full
erlang installation be re-added to the repositories? This package and
many other erlang applications have been crippled for too long!

I get the same error. I get to the desktop because my laptop is
configured to bypass the login screen, however I do not get wifi nor
sound. I have got a Fujitsu LifeBook T730.

Yes, it is. I reported the btrfs-related issue in this bug report. Your
problem sounds more like a real filesystem damage. Maybe you should open
a question on Launchpad Answers or discuss your problem on a
Why do I need to doubleclick anyway? It's the only place of the new
interface where I have to doubleclick. When I first used the workspace
switcher I had exactly the described problem.

I get these errors as soon as I connect my TV screen over HDMI. My
wireless connection is absolutely unusable until I disconnect it again.
This is just one regression out of many that I experience since I
upgraded to natty. I'd be very happy to see at least one of them fixed
before I downgrade

Seems to concern only systems with a btrfs partition regardless of mount
point. It might be because there is no fsck tool for btrfs!

Does it look like the screenshot I attached? When I change the
orientation of my tablet pc screen to portrait I get a solid black

the standard Intel graphic drivers. The problem persists since I
upgraded to Natty. Unfortunatel
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cellwriter
Apparently cellwriter needs to be whitelisted for its icon to appear
in the indicator tray. It's very bad user experience if an icon just
disappears after a system upgrade and it needs editing of some obscure
system setting to reveal it again.
This bug seems to be related to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/550625 . Its
description says the patch was reverted but actually for me the upgrade
to natty broke scrolling and middle mouse button emulation. Is this bug
an upstream issue?
