Just to note. I've upgraded my system to Ubuntu 20.04 and this issue is
no longer present.
The applications now all appear correctly on the primary monitor:

When I click the "Show Applications" button, all the applications are displayed
over on the right hand side of the primary screen. The dots to indicate which
application page you're viewing appear over on the second monit
I'm experiencing the same thing, and only in Yelp. I have an ATI X300.
At first I thought it might be due to using RGBA enabled GTK+, but I
reverted to the Lucid version and the problem persists.
